Kelvin Sam is a principal research analyst working within the costs and supply chain of S&P Global. Kelvin is responsible for the team's research in the floating production space which includes floating production leasing and fabrication demand including the fixed platform, FPSO (Floating Production Storage Offloading), FLNG, semisubmersible, Tension Leg Platform and spar segments. He has also completed consulting projects involving FPSO leasing entry strategies, commercial due diligence and supplier qualification. Prior to joining S&P Global, Kelvin worked as an equities research analyst in JPMorgan Singapore and as a category analyst in Shell covering the floating production systems market. Kelvin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Singapore Management University and is a CFA charterholder.
