Alastair MacLean is a Chartered Engineer with over 20 years’ experience in the specification, design, and operational support of upstream oilfield production facilities, and FPSOs in particular. Alastair started his oil & gas engineering career with Conoco, followed by technical and commercial roles within the process equipment and facilities divisions of Baker Hughes and Aker. Prior to joining Rubicon, he was Commercial Manager for Expro Production Solutions with global responsibility for businesses providing engineering services, well test and production equipment supply, and leased and operated extended well test and production facilities, from offices in the UK, USA, and the Far East. Alastair holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree, is a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, and is a professionally qualified engineer registered under the European Federation of National Engineering Associations.
